Foodie Friday: Smoothie edition

It’s Foodie Friday and this week we are bringing you smoothies! Smoothies can be a fantastic option for getting an extra punch of nutrients when you are pregnant. Bonus, if you are nauseous, they can be an easy way to get nutrients in. Here are two recipes that sound delicious!

Healthy Pregnancy Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

1 cup whole milk {or milk of choice}

1 raw medjool date

1 tbsp peanut butter

big pinch of cinnamon

Apple Pie Ala Mode Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 apple, preferably a sweet, soft apple like Galas, peeled and chopped
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Top with crumbled graham crackers
